This one is for the guys out there...are u a boxers or a briefs or a "free" person?
I don't remember the first time I started wearing an underwear...but I do remember that I didn't wear anything till my 3rd standard. And that too because I had an "accident" during my exams in Hyderabad and I stank up the whole class room (i had a real bad upset stomach...ok)!. So the school "bai's" took me out and they had to wash my shorts while I waited red in face with junior hanging loose and happy for all the world to see (the bloody exhibitoinist)!!! Thats was the most embarrasing childhood memory I recollect...and I remember one of them bai's saying..."itna umar ho kaych bhee ye logaan kuchh nahi pahante na...shee shee..."
Anyway, I digress. My mom used to do all the shopping for me when I was growing up and I used to end up with these ugly looking brown colored "panties" which used to pass on as my underwears. Then my dad finally woke up to the torture I was going through and decided to shop for me. He bought the hottest item on the market...VIP frenchies...and I fell in love with them! They were smart, colorful, trendy...and above all ...really comfortable. I stuck to them frenchies for a long time till I came here to the States and was in Walmart for the first time faced with a plethora of different types of underwear....briefs, boxers, boxer-briefs, brief-thongs, silk-boxers...yikes!
I figured out that briefs were pretty much like the Frenchies I was used to ...except they looked more manly...while Frenchies looked like...well, French underwear. So I decided to switch..but before that a desire arose to try out boxers and so I bought a pair and decided to give it a shot. Now boxers are pretty much like a pair of shorts and so it felt kinda weird. I went to work next day wearing my first pair of boxers. Jumping Jupiters!!! Junior got all excited to find so much extra space to move around that he just "rose" in happiness...and remained in that position for the better half of the day. I couldn't move or get off from my cube till I made him understand the trouble I could get in if someone noticed him trying to fight his way out of my pants!!! That settled it for me...I was officially a briefs person. Junior is not very fond of them...says they suffocate him...but they keep me out of trouble.
I can't even begin to imagine how "free" people operate in day to day life.
